Ylang is a highly sought after tropical tree due to its generous fragrance. It is a medium to large tree, reaching 30 to 60 feet in height. The flowers are unique. They start out a lime green color , changing to yellow, and finally to orange before they drop from the tree. The blooming period is year around. The oil from the flowers are use in many products where a pleasant fragrance is required: from Chanel perfumes, to candles, to bath soaps.

This tree is truly tropical. Frost will cause die back of the smaller limbs although it will recover any thing less than a hard freeze. It is not fussy about the type of soil in which it is planted, and is very draught tolerant once it has established itself.

This is shipped in a 3 Gallon container, and is 3 to 4 feet in height.
