Euphorbia leucocephala
Snows of Kilimanjaro
White Laced Euphorbia
Little Christmas Flower/Tree
Euphorbia leucocephala is a very dependable bloomer over the entire Christmas season, from Thanksgiving through New Years, and beyond. Sometimes it will treat you with a second bloom in mid spring.
The flowers are actually very tiny. What makes the bloom so spectacular are the colored, leaf like bracts that surround the flower. The buds appear at the end of the branches, with multiple flowers in a group. This gives it a very dense blooming, covering the entire plant in white.
Euphorbia leucocephala likes to grow as a slender upright shrub, but can be trimmed into a tree shape. It likes it hot, sunny, dry, and is willing to adapt to almost any soil conditions. Of course, being tropical, it cannot tolerate a frost, and must be brought inside if you live in a colder climate.
You are purchasing well established, very large Euphorbia leucocephala. It measures approximately 3 feet from the top of the root ball to the top of the head. No need to hurry to put this plant in the ground. It will do well right where it is until you are ready to plant it in its final home.
Shipping Note: Please Read!!!
Your plant will be shipped in a reinforced box, in its own growing container, and with the roots undisturbed (never bare root). The extra weight may add a couple of dollars to the shipping charge, but it's worth it to receive a well-established plant that does not require immediate planting or re - potting. Total shipping charges will be displayed prior to confirming the total order.
